About the Book: 108 Bharathanatyam Jathis, is a book that is easy to read and understand, with tala notations. A downloadable audio link to the 108 jathis recited by the author is also available with the book. With a variety of jathis in different talas, it serves as a great learning tool for students of Bharathanatyam, while teachers and professional dancers could utilise them in various dance pieces and thematic productions.

About the Event: Come and join us for the launch of this book, and to enjoy some short performances to some of the jathis in the book, by students of Samarpana Institute of Dance.
