FAQ
The Answers You Need
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO START LEARNING BHARATHANATYAM?
The minimum age to enrol is 5, however, there are no upper age limits. It is never too late to start, only a willingness to learn.
ARE THERE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO PERFORM ON STAGE?
Yes. We believe that stage performances are a great learning experience for students, to develop self-confidence and the skills to coordinate with others on stage, let alone the motivation and excitement of performing. All students will have opportunities to perform at our Annual Concert every year. Intermediate to Advanced level students will perform more regularly, in cultural festivals and other events.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR DANCE CLASSES?
Yes, we have uniforms for the different age groups. To find out about our uniforms and how to order, click here.
I HAVE PREVIOUSLY LEARNT SOME BHARATHANATYAM, WHICH LEVEL DO I JOIN?
If you have already learnt some Bharathanatyam before, it is a good idea to contact us so that we can assess the level that you are at, and suggest the most appropriate class for you.
HOW MUCH ARE THE FEES FOR BHARATHANATYAM CLASSES?
Our classes run as per the NSW school term, and fees are paid on a term basis. Please review our fee structure and policy here.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREATIVE KIDS OR ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS?
Yes. We are an Approved Provider for both NSW Creative Kids and Active Kids Vouchers.
You can use these vouchers towards your child's term fees. Please go to the Service NSW website to get your vouchers.
