Social Media & Video Content Manager (Remote – Part-Time)

Workload: Approx. 8–10 hours/week

Location: Remote (Preference for India-based candidates with an Indian dance background)

We are now looking for a creative, reliable, and Bharathanatyam-aware Social Media Manager to manage our online presence, especially through Reels and edited dance content.

What You’ll Do:

🎬 Edit short-form dance videos (Reels, behind-the-scenes, class moments, voiceovers, captions, transitions, etc.)

📆 Plan, schedule & publish content on Instagram & YouTube. consistently (3–5x per week)

✏️ Write clear, engaging captions using appropriate hashtags

🎯 Track engagement (views, likes, shares) and suggest post ideas based on trends

🤝 Communicate with our Director for weekly content planning and approvals

 

Who You Are:

✅ A social media-savvy creative with strong video editing skills
✅ Knowledgeable in Bharathanatyam or Indian classical arts—able to understand the nuances of movement and rhythm
✅ Proactive and independent—you bring your own ideas, take initiative, and can work with minimal instructions
✅ Organised and reliable, able to stick to posting schedules and deadlines
✅ Comfortable using tools like CapCut, InShot, Canva, and Meta Business Suite
✅ Strong English communication skills for writing captions and collaborating with our team

Bonus If You Have: Experience managing social media for a dance/art/cultural brand, and some familiarity with Instagram Ads or analytics
