The Season 1 Reloaded Update for Black Ops 6 Zombies has officially dropped, and there’s a lot to unpack. One of the biggest changes is the buffs across the board. These tweaks are shaking up the entire meta, so let’s talk about what’s been enhanced and how it’ll affect gameplay.

First off, the weapon buffs are something to be excited about. The Ray Gun has been given a considerable boost in both damage and ammo capacity. While the Ray Gun has always been a fan favorite, it often fell short in later rounds, especially on high-round runs. With this buff, the Ray Gun now seems like a viable option well into the mid-to-late game. The KRM-262 shotgun also saw a damage increase, making it much stronger at close range and better for crowd control in tight spots. With the increased power of these weapons, you’ll notice how much more versatile they are.
Another buff worth mentioning is the Field Upgrade changes. The Frost Blast has been given a significant freeze duration increase, allowing you to handle swarms of zombies with greater ease. This is a game-changer for anyone who loves the defensive and crowd-control aspects of Zombies. The extra time to kill zombies or reposition yourself is critical when you’re surrounded by hordes.
Then, there’s the Perk buffs. Quick Revive now restores a larger portion of health when you self-revive, and Stamin-Up has been given a slight speed boost. If you’re a player who loves to be on the move, Stamin-Up will feel much more fluid and effective, especially when you’re trying to dodge large groups of zombies.
In short, these buffs are a breath of fresh air. They breathe new life into weapons and perks that were previously underwhelming, and that makes gameplay feel a lot more dynamic. The meta is definitely shifting, and it’s exciting to see how players will adjust to the new, stronger loadouts.
