How to download vRealize Identity Manager?

  • Log in to with your credentials.



  • Click on All Downloads under the Downloads menu.



  • Select vRealize Suite under the Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure category.



  • Select the version of vIDM that you want to download. The latest version is 3.3.6 (for vRA, vRops, vRLI, vRB, vRNI, NSX only).



  • Select the file type that you want to download. You can choose from Product Binaries, Drivers & Tools, Open Source, or Custom ISOs.



  • Click on Download Now next to the file name. You may need to accept the license agreement before downloading.



  • Save the file to your local drive or a network location.



How to install vRealize Identity Manager?




To install vIDM, you can use either the . The vRealize Easy Installer allows you to install a new instance of vIDM or import an existing instance in a few simple steps.   • The network settings and the certificate settings for the target vIDM appliance.



  • Review the summary of your installation or import settings and click on Install or Import to start the process.



  • Wait for the process to complete. You can monitor the progress and status of your installation or import from the vRealize Easy Installer or the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager interface.



  • Once the process is finished, you can log in to your vIDM web interface with your admin credentials and verify that your installation or import was successful.
